Returns & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with every purchase from ByteHub. This policy explains when returns are accepted, how the process works, and when you can expect a refund.

1. Return Window

You may request a return within 7 days of delivery. Requests received after this window cannot be accepted.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for return, the item must be:

  • In its original, sealed, or unopened packaging wherever possible.
  • Complete with all accessories, cables, manuals, and freebies that shipped with it.
  • Not physically damaged, scratched, or modified by the customer.
  • Accompanied by a valid order number and proof of purchase.

3. Eligible Reasons

  • Defective on arrival (DOA): the product does not power on, is visibly damaged, or fails to function as described within 7 days.
  • Wrong item shipped: you received a product that does not match your order.
  • Not as described: the delivered product materially differs from the listing on the site.

4. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Software licences or activation keys that have already been activated or redeemed.
  • Consumables that have been opened (thermal paste, cleaning kits, printer cartridges, etc.).
  • Items damaged by the user (liquid damage, power surge, physical impact, unauthorised modification).
  • Custom-configured or special-order items.
  • Items returned after the 7-day window.

5. How to Request a Return

  1. Email returns@bytehub.bd with:
    • Your order number
    • Reason for the return
    • 2–3 clear photos of the product and packaging (front, back, and the issue)
  2. Our team will review and respond within 1–2 business days.
  3. If approved, we issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number and ship-back instructions.
  4. Ship the item back using a reliable courier. If the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective on arrival), we will reimburse the courier fee; otherwise the customer bears return shipping.
  5. Once received and inspected (1–2 business days), we process a refund or replacement.

6. Refund Method & Timing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method:

  • Bank transfer orders: refunded to the originating bank account within 7–10 business days of return approval.
  • COD orders: refunded via bKash / Nagad transfer to the customer's mobile wallet, or as ByteHub store credit, based on customer preference.
  • Online payment gateway orders: refunded through the same gateway within 7–10 business days.

7. Replacement

If you prefer a replacement instead of a refund and the item is in stock, we will dispatch the replacement at no additional shipping cost (for eligible reasons). Out-of-stock items default to a refund.

8. Warranty Claims (After 7 Days)

For warranty issues after the 7-day return window, the manufacturer's warranty applies. We will facilitate the claim with the authorised service centre, but the timeline and outcome are governed by the manufacturer. Physical damage, liquid damage, and unauthorised modifications void the warranty.

9. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled free of charge before dispatch. Once dispatched, standard return procedure applies.
