The IT-Link 1:2 PLC Splitter is a passive optical component that evenly divides one fiber optic input signal into two output signals. Fabricated using planar lightwave circuit (PLC) technology on a silica glass waveguide chip, it ensures uniform and stable light splitting across the full operating wavelength range of 1260-1650 nm, covering O, E, S, C, and L bands. With a maximum insertion loss of 4.0 dB and return loss greater than 50 dB (UPC polish), this splitter delivers reliable performance for GPON, EPON, and BPON passive optical networks. The mini module form factor with 0.9 mm fiber pigtails and SC/UPC connectors makes it easy to install in distribution frames, splice closures, or TJ boxes. It is rated for -40 to +85 degrees C operating temperature and meets Telcordia GR-1209 and GR-1221 reliability standards.
